The mission team has safely arrived in Honduras. They are thankful the flights went smoothly and ALL of their luggage arrived. The Partners Worldwide Team met us at the airport, loaded our luggage and we boarded the school bus to head south to our first medical brigade location. But first we had a typical Honduran meal at a local restaurant. It was delicious: Carne, pollo, pico de gallo and tortillas. Tonight we are staying at a hotel approximately an hour from the medical brigade for tomorrow. Everyone is ready for a goodnight’s sleep after getting up early this morning. The temperatures are a wee bit warmer than most of us have had this winter. But an interesting note is Honduras had a cold spell last week with some snow in the higher elevations.
Keep us in your prayers as we serve tomorrow. We have been warned to use mosquito spray often during the day. There has been a few cases of the Zika virus reported. God is good all the time. All the time God is good!
